The Cosmic Tree and The Mythic Forest are inquiries into the mystique of nature, the energies of trees, and their connection to humanity. Throughout this process, I’ve been motivated by my attachment to the solace of the woods and mythic traditions of tree folklore: dealing with spirits, magic, and sacred groves. The work visualizes the souls of trees and the spiritual power of nature within abstract manifestations of being in two distinct modes. How can we return to the spiritual center of humanity: the enchanted forest, the tree of life: our cosmic ancestor?
